Crystalline RR

Real-time Raman capability in a sophisticated parallel crystallizer

Technobis Crystalline 高通量结晶系统

Parallel Crystallizer with Raman Probe

In addition to providing all the benefits of Technobis’s Crystalline SE (Standard Edition), the advanced Crystalline RR (Raman Ready) incorporates the real-time Raman function. It monitors chemical and morphological changes, providing powerful capabilities in developing and optimizing crystallization processes.

Like other models in the Crystalline range, the RR is a compact yet sophisticated parallel crystallizer suitable for crystallization process development and optimization across a broad range of industries. Its intuitive control and analysis software gives unparalleled access to real-time information on experiments.

  • 4 parallel real-time non-intrusive Raman probes perform real-time monitoring of chemical and morphological changes.
  • 8 independently programmable reactors with stir bar and/or overhead stirring make it possible to study the effect of different solvents or counter-ions in a simple and easy fashion.
  • 8 blocks with independently programmable temperature and stirring control with stir bar enable one system to be used simultaneously by several operators.
  • 8 independent non-invasive turbidity probes provide real-time turbidity measurements while avoiding cross-contamination.
  • ml-scale reaction saves on samples while compact ergonomic design saves valuable laboratory space.
  • Range of crystallization techniques (e.g. cooling, evaporation, anti-solvent addition, etc.) supported.
  • Correlation of Raman spectra with temperature profiles and turbidity signals
  • Software interface for spectroscopic analysis
  • Precise temperature control (0.1 °C) and fast heating / cooling rate
  • ml-scale refluxing capability
  • ml-scale slow evaporation with N2 flow
  • ml-scale seeding capability
  • Software for fast report export
  • Can mix even the most viscous materials in a controlled fashion
  • Feedback control allows response to crystallization events during the temperature cycle
  • Expandable to online observation of morphology
  • Process development and optimization
  • Monitoring chemical reactions
  • Monitoring changes in crystal form
  • Polymorph/solvate/hydrate/co-crystal screening
  • Looking for less stable intermediates
  • Controlling growth of certain polymorphs
